For the past 16 months, in an attempt to reverse osteoporosis, I've been lifting heavy weights under the auspices of Holly Rilinger, who insists on proper form. But what does proper form look like?
This is invaluable. I meant to tell you, Deborah, that lifting weights showed up on my latest scan so that I have gone to OSTEOPENIA instead of Osteoporosis on everything, but my spine--but even those numbers are better. I am amazed! I am going to watch Rilinger's videos. So thank you, thank you, thank you.
That is incredible. I’ve always been afraid to lift weights. At 68 and 7 spinal surgeries later, it scares me half to death but, this seems to be the only reliable way to protect your bones. I’m going to think very hard about this training. Maybe start out a lot lighter and work up. Thank you so much for this.
Way to go Deb!! Thanks to the article you wrote on Holly last year, I started my own journey of learning about weight training and eventually signed up for Blueprint,(currently in Blueprint Beyond!), immediately after receiving my own osteoporosis diagnosis. I too am 59, and I believe we have time on our side, so my hope is that in a year, my next DEXA will show (MAJOR) improvements. After just 5 months, I'm noticing the difference, feeling stronger and healthier than I have in years! I'll be forwarding this excellent example of Holly's expertise, & your enthusiasm and strength to my friends who are starting to acquire dumbbells of their own. As always, thank you Deb!
Oh, I'm so glad to hear this! My next DEXA is soon after Thanksgiving. I'm really crossing my fingers, too, for some major changes. And thanks for forwarding the video. I'm a true believer in Holly's expertise and badass instruction.

Wow! Fantastic! So glad to hear this.
I just watched this while waiting for my monthly Evenity shots. I already have osteoporosis - yet KNOW I can be stronger.
Challenge accepted. Just what I need, Deb.
ONWARD❣️
Go go go!!!!
Brilliant. Thanks.
This is great content Deb! Thnk u!! x
Thank YOU!
I'm going to share this with everyone I know with osteoporosis and osteopenia. It's a great how-to! Thanks!
She has her studio in East Hampton. It’s an inspiring place. She’s also doing pop-up classes in Tribeca on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 and 9:30 am.

Holly is really good at working around surgeries and injuries. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Very interested in this program but telling me BP199 invalid as a discount code?
Huh!!!??? Weird. Let me check with Holly!!!! Thanks for letting me know.
Hi, Kim. Are you inputting BP199 or just plain 199? You have to use the letters as well, she said. Will you try again and let me know?
I had been including the letters but just tried again and it worked. Will be on intro call this morning; thanks for the info on this opportunity!
Fantastic!!!
